Cops: Manchester Woman Attacks Other Woman With Stun Gun at Vernon Shopping Plaza
She was arrested on a warrant.

VERNON, CT - A Manchester teen has been charged with using a stun gun on a woman looking for a job in Vernon, police said.
The case stems from an April 30 incident over a male acquaintance at a Vernon Circle shopping plaza and police arrested 18-year-old Justine Olsen on June 23, according to a warrant made available by police on Tuesday.
Olson, of 115 Walnut St., Manchester, was charged with third-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace, according to the warrant.
On April 30, Vernon police were called to the Denny's restaurant at 35 Talcottville Road after a 22-year-old woman said that two "girls" tried to "jump" her and attack her with stun gun, according to the warrant.
The woman said she had been at the Dollar Tree at one end of the plaza, inquiring about job openings, according to the warrant. She was there for about two minutes and then began walking to the Denny's at the other side of the plaza to ask about job openings there, according to the warrant.
The woman told police the two have had an ongoing dispute over a male friend, according to the warrant.
She said near the Denny's entrance, Olson, accompanied by others, zapped her with a stun gun, according to the warrant. Police said it was on her back.
A security guard from a nearby college who was at the restaurant, and a waitress heard the shock, according to the warrant. She was not injured severely, according to the warrant.
Olsen said several times she she could not get to Vernon headquarters to be interviewed because of transportation issues, according to the warrant. She eventually hung up on police during one call, police said.
Police then applied for a warrant for her arrest.
She is set for a July 20 court appearance, according to judicial system records.
