Crash Knocks Out Power in Manchester on Monday

It was a single-car accident.

MANCHESTER, CT - A single-car crash on Charter Oak Street near the intersection of Spruce Street knocked out a pole — and power — in the neighborhood early Monday morning,Fox61 reported.

Power was out for nearly two hours for about 1,000 households after the 1:30 a.m. incident and at 6 a.m., 13 were still waiting to get the electricity turned back on, according to the story. The road was closed while the pole was replaced and the crash was cleared.
