Crash In Lebanon Claims Life Of Manchester Man

LEBANON, CT — A 33-year-old Manchester man perished in an early morning crash on Wednesday, state police said.

State police said the crash took place at 1:39 a.m. on Trumbull Highway in Lebanon. A 2009 Jeep Patriot driven by Daniel Donahue, of Manchester, was heading north when it veered off the right side of the road and side-swiped a utility pole, according to a report.

The vehicle then hit a mailbox, smashed into a rock wall at an entrance to a driveway and rolled onto its roof, according to a report.

Donahue died as a result, state police said in a report.
