The dash cam footage shows the Manchester police vehicle turning into the lot and heading toward a red Honda Accord. The driver, whom police said is also a suspect in a string of vehicular burglaries in the area, is seen quickly entering the Honda Accord and fleeing the scene, side swiping the police cruiser in the process.

The vehicle has not been located, and police Friday released the camera footage of the incident. The Honda's body style is consistent with model years 2003 to 2007, police said. The vehicle has a rear spoiler, a yellow air freshener hanging from the rear view mirror and the front plate is believed to be a chrome decorative design with a Honda logo, police said. The Honda was damaged by the collision and likely has blank paint in its rear passenger side quarter panel from the police vehicle, according to a report.
Manchester police said they have identified other car burglaries in the area that appear to have been committed by the same person.
