Dick's Sets Up Massive 'Warehouse Sale' At Manchester Location
A sporting goods giant has set up a giant warehouse operation in the Buckland Hills shopping district in Manchester.
MANCHESTER, CT — Dick's Sporting Goods has set up one of its massive "warehouse sale" locations in Manchester.
It has taken up the former Babies R Us location at 169 Hale Road, next to Bed, Bath & Beyond. The warehouse is located at the opposite end of the Buckland Hills commercial district from the main Dick's location in the Burr Corners plaza.
The Dick's warehouses are designed to offer an assortment of apparel and footwear at "discounted" prices. The trick is to sort through the massive inventory and find what is marked down the most. The original prices listed on items at Dick's Warehouse sales represent the highest marked prices at other Dick's stores or at dickssportinggoods.com.

"Intermediate markdowns" on the item may have been taken from those original prices, according to the company.
The clothing in Manchester ranged from performance shirts and shorts to golf and casual wear. Footwear is ranging from all-purpose cleats to basketball and running shoes to casual sneakers.

Sales come with 30-Day Return Policy and reward certificates are accepted via the DICKS.com/ScoreCard, company officials said.
Store staffers said there has been no posted duration for the Manchester warehouse sale.
