Dog Reunited With Owner After 'Arrest' in Manchester
Manchester police were able to reunite a dog with her owner after a weekend 'arrest.'

MANCHESTER, CT — A loitering dog was released to the custody of her owner after being "arrested" on Sunday, police said.
The incident wound up being the feel-good story of the weekend at the Manchester Police Department. An officer found the dog and brought her to the Tyler Regional Animal Care Shelter in South Windsor, Manchester police said on their Facebook page. The dog's owner was eventually located and was reunited with her, police said.
Police also sent out a reminder to the public to put collars with up to date tag information on pets to help authorities return them home, should they become lost.
