Downtown Manchester Scarecrow Festival Now In Its 12th Year

It's time for the 12th-annual Downtown Manchester Scarecrow Festival.

MANCHESTER, CT — It's time for the 12th-annual Downtown Manchester Scarecrow Festival.

Businesses, organizations, individuals and families are being invited to create a family-friendly scarecrow for display on Main Street. The scarecrows will be on display from Oct. 10 to Oct. 24.

Each year between 30 and 35 scarecrows decorate Main Street. The display traditionally draws visitors from around the region.

The scarecrows will also be featured on the Downtown Manchester ScareCrow Festival Facebook page as well as the DMSSD Facebook Page and Instagram @downtownmanchesterct.

Creators are being asked to avoid political themes.

Click here to download participation forms. Registration forms must be submitted by Sept. 30.

The Scarecrow Festival is sponsored by the Downtown Manchester Special Services District with support from Crimson Art Box.
