Drainage Work Proposed For Open Space Parcel In Manchester
Drainage improvements have been proposed for a stretch of open space off Hillstown Road in Manchester.

MANCHESTER, CT — Drainage improvements have been proposed for a stretch of open space in Manchester.
Planning officials Wednesday said that a wetlands permit application has been submitted that requests approval to replace a cement drainage pipe at under a farm road with 15-inch-by-20-foot corrugated HDPE culvert pipe at 871 Hillstown Road.
The pipe is part of a culvert that needs to be improved, officials said.

The parcel can be seen at the far western end of the Manchester Conservation Trust Bush Hill Preserve Trail Map. The Farm Road at 871 Hillstown Road stretches from Bush Hill Road to the Glastonbury line.
