Drive-in Theater Graduation Ceremony To Celebrate Students

Odyssey Community School hosted a socially distant graduation ceremony at Mansfield Drive-In June 16.

Press release from Odyssey Community School:

June 18, 2020

In the evening of June 16, 2020, Odyssey Community School hosted a socially distant graduation ceremony at Mansfield Drive-In to celebrate the accomplishments of their more than 35 graduating 8th-graders. Historically, the school has shown a video montage during graduation ceremonies. This time, to maintain a sense of normalcy for the students and make this socially distant ceremony fun, students and families enjoyed the montage on the big screen and “honked” in lieu of clapping. Also during the event, awards were presented to 6 students based on one of the school’s Circle Values: Courage, Integrity, Respect, Curiosity, Leadership, Excellence.
