Driver Killed As Vehicle Hits Building In Manchester

MANCHESTER, CT — A driver was killed in a single-car crash in Manchester early Tuesday morning, police said.

The crash took place at 12:11 a.m. in the area of 499 Lydall St.

Police said a preliminary investigation determined that a vehicle being driven by a 33-year-old woman from Manchester was traveling west on Lydall Street. It left the road and collided with a building, police said.

The woman was pronounced deceased at the scene, police said.
