MANCHESTER, CT — A set of electric vehicle charging stations has been proposed for the lot in a commercial plaza on the north side of Manchester.

The plaza at 234 Tolland Turnpike is anchored to the north by the Big Y World Class Market and to the south by several smaller businesses and offices.

Manchester planning officials said applications have been submitted that request an inland wetlands permit and a special exception modification for the construction of three pre-assembled Tesla Superchargers each with four charging posts (12 total) and associated switchgear and a transformer.
