Empty Bugaboo Creek Building to be Torn Down

A smaller building containing two restaurants and a store will be constructed on the site.

After sitting vacant for the past five years, the site of the former Bugaboo Creek Steak House is about to undergo revitalization.

The Manchester Planning and Zoning Commission approved plans to raze the 8,900 square foot former restaurant in the Plaza at Buckland Hills on Pleasant Valley Road. In its place, a smaller building will be constructed, totaling 5,900 square feet, which will house a retail store and a pair of restaurants, the Journal Inquirer reported.

Both eating establishments are expected to feature outdoor seating, the JI said.
