Colon Cancer Awareness Presentation

March is Colon Cancer Awareness Month: Colon cancer can be prevented if caught early. When found at its earliest, most treatable stage, colon cancer has a 90 percent survival rate. To help reduce the incidence of colon cancer, the Manchester Health Department, in Partnership with Hartford Hospital, is offering a free presentation and free Fecal Immunochemical Tests (FIT). These tests are available to individuals 50 years of age and older on Wednesday, March 28, 2012, from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Manchester Senior Center. 860-647-3211.
