Cooking Workshops for Kids

The Lutz is offering the following programs:

Little Chefs for ages 2-3 with a caregiver: "Do you like to cook? During this class series, we will work together to create a fun and edible treat each day. Practice important kitchen skills like stirring and pouring and learn how to follow simple directions. Materials fee included. Note: Wheat and dairy products may be used. Please notify the class instructor if your child has any food allergies." Tues/Thurs, August 23 & 25 10:00 –10:30 a.m. -Members $20 Nonmembers $25.

Cooks and Books for ages 4-5: "Who knew cooking and reading could be so much fun? During this series we will use children’s books as inspiration for recipes and ingredients. Learn how to follow recipe directions, practice various cooking methods, and try new and different flavors. Materials fee included. Note: Wheat and dairy products may be used. Please notify the class instructor if your child has any food allergies." Tues/Thurs, August 23 & 25 11:00 a.m. - 12 p.m. -and- Tues/Thurs, August 23 & 25 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. - Members $25, Non-members $30.

Kitchen Capers for kids ages 6-8: "Do you like to help in the kitchen? Explore the amazing world of food science and prepare to measure, mix, cook, and eat some delicious treats! Recipes will be provided so you can recreate the magic at home. Materials fee included. Note: Wheat and dairy products may be used. Please notify class instructor if your child has any food allergies." Tues/Thurs, August 23 & 25 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. -Members $25 Nonmembers $30.
