I wanted to share a link put out by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). There are a few points that may be helpful when it comes to educating your clients. Much of this information is a lot to do about nothing.

Most responsible loan officers have been doing business the right way and have not put anyone into a mortgage where they couldn’t afford to make the payment. All of the new language about the ability to repay is such nonsense.
