Feds, Regional Task Force, Cops Break Up Drug Factory In Manchester
Authorities raided a Manchester residence as part of a narcotics investigation.

MANCHESTER, CT — A regional law enforcement drug unit, federal agents and local police have broken up a large drug operation in Manchester, according to a news release.
On Friday, members of the East Central Narcotics Task Force, Manchester police and the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force raided a residence at 95 West Middle Turnpike in Manchester after securing a search warrant, according to a news release.
The home was connected with an ongoing narcotics investigation, authorities said. Confiscated during the raid were a large quantity of assorted narcotics, two vehicles, and cash, according to a news release.

The seized drugs, authorities said, included:
- Crack cocaine (5 ounces)
- Cocaine (8 ounces)
- Fentanyl (1,660 bags)
- Marijuana (2 pounds)
- Mushrooms (3 grams)
A suspect in the probe, 43-year-old Parris Tyson, of Manchester, was taken into custody. Tyson was charged with:

- The sale of narcotics (fentanyl and cocaine)
- Possession of drugs with the intent to sell (fentanyl, cocaine, and marijuana)
- Operating a drug factory
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
Tyson was held after his arrest on a $350,000 bond.
