Finishing Touches Put On Manchester Brewhouse Mural

MANCHESTER, CT — Workers are putting the finishing touches on a mural at the home of a new brewhouse on Mancheser's Purnell Place.

Urban Lodge Brewing is slated to open this summer at 47 Purnell Place. It will be the third brewery in town.

The mural is taking the place of a plain white wall. The project began last week.

Economic development officials shared an image of the mural Wednesday.

Urban Lodge Brewing Co. will occupy about 7,000 square feet, officials said. The layout includes a five-barrel brewery and space for 293 customers.

The brewery will also feature a 1,500-square-foot outdoor patio, officials said.
