Fire Breaks Out At Manchester Dwelling Monday
Officials were reporting heavy fire at a Manchester dwelling Monday morning.

MANCHESTER, CT — A fire broke out at a home on Glenwood Street in Manchester Monday morning.
The fire at 104 Glenwood street was reported at about 8:50 a.m. by fire officials on Twitter:

Officials said the fire was "heavy" and a second alrm was called minutes later. Fire officials were telling motorists to avoid the area near Glenwood Street and Ashworth Street through the morning hours.

At noon, The American Red Cross said it was assisting two families — seven adults and six children — after the fire. The Red Cross said it provided "assistance to meet the families’ immediate needs."
