Fire Breaks Out On Vernon Street In Manchester

MANCHESTER, CT — A structure fire broke out at 354 Vernon Street in Manchester Monday evening.

The fire was reported at about 6:30 p.m.

Police were telling motorists that they should expect detours to be in place well into the nighttime hours.

There was no immediate word on damage or injuries.

The home is listed in property records as a 1,134-square-foot dwelling featuring four bedrooms and a bathroom and a half.
