Fire Destroys Manchester Liquor Store
Motorists are advised to avoid the area of Route 83 as firefighters continue to work at the scene.

MANCHESTER, CT — A raging fire caused partial collapse of a building containing a liquor store on Tolland Turnpike early Wednesday morning, NBC Connecticut reported.
The blaze at M&R Liquors at 120 Tolland Turnpike was reported at 3:55 a.m.
No one was in the building at the time the fire broke out, and no injuries were reported.

Route 83 was totally closed for a time, but one lane was eventually opened. Motorists should avoid the area.
