Some streets were also temporarily blocked as a slew of authorities descended on the neighborhood, recorded and removed various items.

Four homes were evacuated Wednesday night after a suspected meth lab was discovered in a home on Seaman Circle, according to a report on WFSB-TV, Channel 3.

Residents were later let back into their homes after police found material they said was consistent with a lab to produce methamphetamine in one home, the report said. Some nearby roads were blocked for hours as authorities recorded and removed potentially dangerous material from the site. Police are searching for a man from that home.

One neighbor who didn’t give WFSB-TV her name said the neighborhood has many children in it.
