Giving a little to grow a lot!

When the beautiful tree in St. James' lawn fell to the tremendous snow we had a year ago, it broke the hearts of many who attend the tree lighting each year in early December.

The community was asked to support the purchase, delivery and planting of a new, live, tree, so that unlike the one in Rockefeller Plaza, we would have one that would live on and grow as the years go on.

The Cruisin' Main committee and the Rotary Club of Manchester took that challenge and made the financial commitment to get that tree, and what a lovely one it is!

The tree was lit on December 5th to a big crowd and Santa made his yearly appearance as well!

Thanks to all who see a need and make wishes come true!
