Good Deeds with ConnectiCare Volunteers Reflect on Projects

Volunteers from Good Deeds with ConnectiCare recently gathered at the ConnectiCare Center in Manchester to discuss their shared experience of participating in the new initiative led by the state health plan provider.

In partnership with Leadership Greater Hartford, the Good Deeds program allows ConnectiCare members and employees the opportunity to connect with nonprofits to improve our communities. The program also enables volunteers to engage with one another in a positive, team-building setting.

The Good Deeds volunteer teams have been aiding projects and events since the spring. One team brightened up a stretch of roadway in Hartford and the other is currently working with the Community Child Guidance Clinic, Inc. to educate people in and around Manchester about child and family-focused mental health services.
