Guilty Pleas Entered In Manchester Home Invasion Case

Children were home during the incident.

HARTFORD — Two men from Springfield have now entered guilty pleas for a December home in Manchester, the Hartford Courant reported.

Clinton Mitchell, 29, pleaded guilty Tuesday to a single count of first-degree burglary.

Michael Walters, 27, pleaded guilty Friday to second-degree burglary and risk of injury to a minor.

The plea agreement still leaves them facing seven years in prison and eight years of special parole.

Sentencing is slated for June 14.

Mitchell and Walters broke into 26 Walnut St. Manchester, on Dec. 22, 2015 thinking the house was not occupied, the Courant reported. An 11-year-old girl and 12-year-old boy were home, according to the story.
