Gun Threat Puts Manchester High School In Brief Lockdown
A student threat put Manchester High School in lockdown mode for a brief time Friday.

MANCHESTER, CT — Manchester High School was placed in lockdown mode Friday after a student threatened to harm others with a firearm, police said.
The incident took place at about 9:45 a.m., police said.
Manchester Police Department school resource officers quickly located the student and "dispelled any imminent threat."

Police did not say if the student actually had a gun.
The lockdown was cleared at approximately 10:15 a.m., police said.
