Holiday Kickoff Event Planned For Downtown Manchester
Downtown Manchester merchants and officials will be welcoming in the holiday season by hosting a Holiday on Main event.
MANCHESTER, CT — Downtown Manchester merchants and officials will be welcoming in the holiday season by hosting their Holiday on Main on Shop Small Saturday on Nov. 27.
The event is slated for noon to 3 p.m.
Downtown businesses will be hosting family oriented activities.

Visitors can enter to win one of several prizes by completing the shopping challenge tic-tac-toe. Two open air holiday markets will vie featured.
Children will be able to mail a letter to Santa at one of Manchester's North Pole Post Offices.

Families can also create a craft, enjoy hot chocolate and listen to some holiday carols.
As far as shopping is concerned, many sales will be on tap at Downtown businesses.
Families can line the sidewalks along Main Street to watch Santa arrive, escorted by the MHS Winterguard.
Visitors should start at the Forest Street Parking Lot to pick up a map and game board at the welcome tent.
