Home Catches Fire in Manchester

The multiple alarm blaze broke out on Thursday.

MANCHESTER, CT — A two-alarm fire broke out at a home on North Street on Thursday afternoon.

The call was reported at 3 p.m. Heavy smoke could be seen billowing out of the home in a photo posted on the Manchester Firefighters Twitter account.

According to Tolland County 911 crews from Tolland, Vernon, North Coventry and Bolton assisted the 8th Utilities District and other local units either at the scene or in support.

There was no reports on injuries.
