Horror Movie Being Filmed in Manchester
A local film company is shooting the movie in a town-owned cabin.

An isolated cabin in Manchester in the Case Mountain Recreational area is now the site of a horror film.
Since last week, a film crew from Rocky Hill-based Synthetic Cinema International has been shooting scenes for a movie titled "Animal," which is about teenagers being lured into a creepy lodge, The Hartford Courant reported.
The movie, co-produced by Drew Barrymore's Flower Films, will be filmed in this town-owned piece of property until mid-August, The Courant reported.
Here's a synopsis of the film, according to a post on the state's website:
"When plans for a weekend vacation hit a dead end, a group of close-knit friends find themselves stranded in unfamiliar territory, pursued by a menacing, blood thirsty predator. Holed up in an isolated cabin, tensions mount as long-buried secrets are revealed. As the body count rises, the group must put their differences aside and fight for survival."
