Hours Changing For Some Manchester Municipal Buildings

MANCHESTER, CT — Effective Aug. 5, there is a change in operating hours for several municipal buildings in Manchester.

The offices affected are

• Town Hall (41 Center St.), all offices
• Lincoln Center (494 Main St.), all offices except the Fire Marshal's Office (will continue normal hours)
• Human Services Department, Health Department, Senior, Adult, and Family Services (479 Main St.)
• The new hours of operation are:
• Monday: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Tuesday: 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• Wednesday: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Thursday: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Friday: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Said town officials, "These changes are being made to better serve the Manchester community and ensure that we provide the best possible service to all residents. The goal of extending services on Tuesday evenings is to offer availability after traditional workday hours for those looking to conduct business."
