“I Got Recruited”

The other night I was driving home, when I received a call from someone offering me a business opportunity. The pitch was, they were only looking for successful people with a large database of clients. He told me that I had been recommend by a number of people, that are already involved with this opportunity and he went on to drop a couple of names.

I told him that I appreciated all the wonderful things he was saying about me, but my extra time was much too valuable to put efforts into another business. He asked even if I could make $100,000 per month. That is a lot of money, but how much do you make each month? We don’t share that information.

OK, so let me get this straight, you want to recruit me, but you are not willing to have an honest conversation. I could tell he was starting to get a little flustered. He told me that he had only started two weeks ago, but his training was to find folks and make money off their revenues.

Look, I understand multi-level marketing, but it’s not for me and wished good fortune going forward. I actually felt a bit sorry for him, as so many get starting really excited, but most fade away without the $100,000 per month incomes.
