“I Want Someone to be Straight Up Honest with Me”

Below is an email that I got from someone that was just looking for straight and honest answers instead of the alternative. It is so sad that some have to even think this way, as there is always so much bad information out there. How many more folks would want to own a home, if they thought they could.

“I am just looking for someone to be straight up honest with me. My wife and I have been repairing our credit for some time, and have paid off all but 1 bill that is in collections. this one medical bill in collections has a wage garnishment against my wife. We did not have insurance with first child, so we messed ourselves up. Would any company give me a mortgage loan for a house with this wage garnishment against us. Our credit is fair 650. we have never owned a house, we currently rent. if you would be able to help me, that would be great. At least give me a firm yes, or no, someone would or wouldn’t give me a loan.”

At the end of the conversation, I let him know that I could do his mortgage. He told me, that I made his day. It just doesn’t get any better than that.
