Improved Drive-Up Proposed For Busy Manchester McDonald's
A new drive-up has been proposed for a busy McDonald's in a busy section of Manchester.

MANCHESTER, CT — The operators of a McDonald's restaurant at one of the busiest in intersections in Manchester is proposing a new and improved drive-up area.
The proposal is scheduled to be reviewed by the Manchester Planning and Zoning Commission at its Dec. 7 meeting, planning officials said Tuesday.
A special modification permit is needed before construction could begin.

The McDonald's sits at 136, 144 and 254 Deming St. near a busy interchange with Interstate-84 and the gateway to the Buckland Hills retail district. The drive-up can be accessed from both Deming Street and Hale Road.
Hale Road turns into Buckland Hills Drive, where the Shoppes at Buckland Hills mall is located.
