“Is Discrimination in Mortgages Still Around?”

I must be pretty naïve or at least that is the way I felt as I did my 8 hour continuing education. So many of the lessons were focused on discrimination and I mean of every imaginable type.

I hear the rhetoric coming out of Washington that speaks about discrimination on a pretty regular basis, so is that really the case? Just because I don’t believe in someone’s political beliefs does that become part of the discrimination conversation, I sure hope not.

A couple of weeks ago, I received a couple of calls that led me to believe that testers were checking me out. Many would be uncomfortable with this kind of conversation, but not me. I consider myself very tolerant and open minded, no matter who I am doing a mortgage for.  

I always want to set the right example for everyone in my industry, as I’m sure you do.
