It's Still Unanimous - East Catholic Is Tops In Boys Hoop

The Eagles reached the halfway point of their schedule with a perfect 10-0 record.

MANCHESTER, CT — It's beginning to sound like a broken record, but East Catholic High School was once again the unanimous top selection of all 19 voters as best boys basketball team in Connecticut in the most recent balloting of media members.

The Eagles (10-0) have won all but one contest by at least 20 points to dominate the weekly poll. They will take on Simsbury and Maloney in back-to-back games Friday and Saturday.

Here are the top 10 teams, plus all other schools receiving votes, with records through Jan. 21:
