Jane Clunn, 87, Worked at JC Penney, Great-Grandmother of Seven

Jane R. Clunn, 87, of Manchester, died Saturday, Dec. 27, 2014 at Hartford Hospital.

She was born in Hartford on July 22, 1927, daughter of the late Harold C. and Maude J. (McLeary) Ross, she lived in Manchester most of her life. Prior to retiring she had been employed at the JC Penney Distribution Center in Manchester for many years.

Jane is survived by three children, Dorothy A. Wrobel of Perry, Ga, Robert C. Moriarty of Warner Robbins, Ga, and Linda J. Hogaboom of Manchester; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and two special cousins.

She was predeceased by her former husband and the father of her children, Cal Moriarty.

Private burial in the Spring will be in the East Cemetery in Manchester. There are no services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
