July 4th Fireworks 2023 In Manchester

MANCHESTER, CT — Independence Day is quickly approaching, which means it's time to fire up that barbecue and find out what Fourth of July seasonal fireworks and festivities are going on in for 2023.

Here's what's in store this Independence Day season in Manchester:

The annual James "Dutch" Fogarty Independence Day Celebration is scheduled for July 8 for 2023 with a rain date of July 9.

The event runs from 4 to 9:45 p.m. at the Manchester Band Shell, 60 Bidwell St. It culminates with a fireworks show.

Tickets for the chicken barbecue are on sale at the Town Hall Customer Service window Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The $15 ticket includes a half-chicken, coleslaw, roll, baked potato, watermelon, and beverage. The barbecue is slated for 5:30 to 7 p.m.
