“Just Show US Where to Sign”

I have done mortgages for this couple more years than I care to admit. He also is an attorney that does real estate closings as a major portion of his practice.

I have been through this conversation with them a numbers or times. I have explained to them many times, I am going to explain each and every document, no matter how many times we’re been through this process.

Once I completed the application, he again requested, just point to where we need to sign. Sorry, no can do. You will just have to put up with me giving you, “The Reader’s Digest” version of all these documents, but it is my responsibility to explain everything that you are signing.

I know I frustrate many of my clients that I have worked with many times, I still explain all the documents. I must sound like a broken record, I explain over and over, this stuff is just too important to just point and have you sign without completely understanding all the information.
