K&G Fashion Superstore Will Not Reopen Manchester Store

Clothing Store's temporary closing becomes permanent.

K&G will not reopen their Manchester store. K&G Fashion Superstore will not reopen their store this summer after it was officially announced earlier this year; but leaves the possibility for future reopening.

After months of emails to K&G and shopping plazas trying to find the new location, an answer has finally been given. In an email from K&G about the progress and location of their new local store, they said that it would not reopen. The statement reads 'There was an issue securing a new location for the store. Regretfully, the store will not be reopening at this time. Our next closest store to the Manchester, Connecticut area will be the location in Orange.'

K&G had a location in Manchester located at the Plaza at Burr Corners, next door to Pilgrim Furniture City. The store closed in April, as Pilgrim Furniture City moved down the plaza, to make way for At Home. At Home, formerly Garden Ridge, is a chain of home decor superstores spread across the country. This will be At Home's first Connecticut store when it opens this summer/fall.
