Karen Gorman, 63, Head Secretary at East Hartford High School

Karen M. Gorman, 63, of Manchester, the wife of James Gorman, Jr., passed at Yale New Haven Hospital on Thursday, Jan. 1, 2015.

Born in New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late John and Eleanor Leoncini. Karen had retired after 15 years as head secretary at East Hartford High School. Karen’s passion for life was expressed through music, travel and her love for family & friends.

Besides her husband she is survived by her daughter Ashli Krysta Gorman, her “future son-in-law” Joshua Rodriguez of Manchetser; and her brothers Ricky Leoncini and Johnny Leoncini both of New Jersey.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 6 at 5 p.m. at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home at 219 West Center St. Manchester. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 3-5 p.m. For online condolences please visit www.tierneyfuneralhome.com.
