Kathleen Faulds, 93, Elementary Special Education Teacher in Manchester

Kathleen Csizmesia Faulds, 93, of Manchester, beloved wife of the late John H. Faulds, died peacefully, Friday Dec. 19, 2014 in a circle of love. She was born Oct. 9, 1921 in Providence, RI., daughter of the late Rudolph & Lillian (Jackson) Csizmesia.

She earned her teaching degree from the Rhode Island State Teachers College and later received her Master’s Degree from St. Joseph’s University in West Hartford. Kathleen began a wonderful career with the Manchester Board of Education as an Elementary and Special Education Teacher and retired in 1989 after twenty years of teaching.

She was a member of the Retired Teacher’s Assoc. of Manchester and the ADK Teachers Sorority. Kathleen was a faithful communicant of St. Bartholomew Church in Manchester.

She is survived by three daughters and their husbands, Eve & Peter Rubins of Cumberland, ME., Kathleen & Thomas Peters of Mansfield and Patricia Faulds & Thomas Frattaroli of Tolland, and seven grandchildren, Benjamin Rubins and his wife Abby, Philip Rubins, Amy Peters, Sean Peters, Samuel Frattaroli, Roxanne Frattaroli and Madeline Frattaroli. Other survivors include her brother Edward Csizmesia of Woonsocket, RI., and numerous , cherished nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Monday at the Watkins Funeral Home, Manchester, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon at St. Bartholomew Church 45 Ludlow Rd., Manchester. Burial was in the East Cemetery in Manchester.
