Klezmer Music with Cantor Scott Harris of Temple Beth Hillel

Learn About Klezmer Music

The Temple Beth Hillel Adult Education Committee presents a special program on klezmer music with Cantor Harris on Saturday evening, December 19th from 5:00 to 6:15 p.m. The program will begin with Havdalah, followed by a presentation on Klezmer music – its definition, its origins, and its history - along with musical examples.
Mark your calendars and join us for what promises to be a most interesting event. It will be live-streamed on the Temple website at tbhsw.org.
Temple Beth Hillel is an inclusive congregation that welcomes all. The Temple was
formed in 1960 in South Windsor and, in 2000, moved into its current building on the 20 Baker Lane. Affiliated with the Union of Reform Judaism, the Temple holds services in English and Hebrew, has an active religious school, and is involved in social action and social justice.
