MANCHESTER, CT — A liquor store in Manchester faced a one-day suspension earlier this week because of a sale to a minor, according to the State of Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection's Liquor Control Commission.

Silk City Wine & Liquors at 79 E. Center Street was forced to remain closed Tuesday according to the order.

The store was also fined $3,000, according to the Liquor Control Commission.
