Man Charged in Case of Dead, Pregnant Cat

MANCHESTER, CT ― A man has been charged in the case of a pregnant cat that was found dead in the basement of a Hartford Road home he left in December, authorities said.

Edward Braga, 28, was charged with two counts of cruelty to animals, records show. He is schedule to appear in court on Aug. 28, according to records.

Another cat that Braga left behind survived, authorities said.
