Man Gets 10 Years in Manchester Rape Case
He was sentenced on Thursday after a plea deal.

MANCHESTER, CT — A Meriden man was ordered to serve a decade in prison on Thursday for sexual assaulting a 9-year-old girl in a case that originated in Manchester, the Hartford Courant reported.
Matthew Wyman, 23, was initially charged by Manchester police last October with 13 counts of first-degree sexual assault and one count of risk of injury to a minor, according to court and police records.
He had been in custody since his Oct. 23, 2015 arrest on a $1 million bond, according to court records.

He agreed to plead guilty to three charges and serve half the sentence with conditions, according to the Courant story.
