MANCHESTER, CT — A ballot question on funding for a massive capital program passes Tuesday in Manchester.
The yes votes totaled 6,459.
The no votes totaled 1,660.

The ballot question read:
SHALL THE TOWN OF MANCHESTER APPROPRIATE $17,250,000 TO CAPITAL ACCOUNTS FOR THE 2021-2022 FISCAL YEAR BUDGET FOR THE PURPOSE OF PAYING THE COSTS OF RECONSTRUCTION AND REPAIR OF VARIOUS TOWN ROADS, ROADSIDE ELEMENTS, SIDEWALKS, REPAIRS TO UNION POND DAM, AND AUTHORIZE THE ISSUANCE OF GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS OF THE TOWN OR NOTES IN ANTICIPATION OF SUCH BONDS IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $17,250,000 TO FINANCE SAID APPROPRIATION?
