MANCHESTER, CT — The conversion of an old manufacturing building in Manchester to a brewhouse could get an added twist with a new covered outdoor seating area at Labyrinth Brewing Company.

The old red brick factory that is now a brewery is located at 148 Forest St. Labyrinth is know for its spacious taproom, where brew "wizards" craft pints like Turbo Love Juice - a juicy & hazy New England IPA — and the "tall, dark and delicious" Erebus Oatmeal Stout.

Applications have been submitted for a variance and a special exception modification to allow Labrynth's owners to construct a covered outdoor seating area on the north side of the building.
