The single most pressing issue facing our town/district is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.

Our growth. Mancheter is going to be the largest suburb in Hartford County by 2030. We must have the services and programs necessary to serve our growing town. We must do this without putting the price on the back of our taxpayers. This is a delicate balance.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

I have ten years experience as a board member and 5 years as Mayor. I have the experience, energy, passion and leadership skills to move Manchester forward. I have a history of bringing board members together on issues on both sides of the political isle.

I’ve been successful with my colleagues to pass 2 school referendums and look forward to moving a possible new library and or Senior center. Looking to develop the Broad Street redevelopment area as well as the downtown Main Street businesses. Of course public safety will continue to be the number one priority followed by a commitment to education.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

The passing of 2 school referendums. Negotiating with Wall Street business men on the old parkade site and the ability to keep programs and services with minimal tax increases.

The best advice ever shared with me was ...

Always treat everyone with respect!

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

I will continue to listen to our citizens to move our town forward and will work for the entire town, not a political party.
