Manchester Chief Reflects on Hartford Distributors Shootings Six Years Later

The incident took place on Aug. 3, 2010.

MANCHESTER — Six years ago today, Manchester responded to what turned out to be a the mass murder incident at Hartford Distributors.

This week, police Chief Marc Montminy sat down with the Hartford Courant to reflect on the aftermath and what the harrowing experience meant then and now to the department.

A sixth anniversary memorial ceremony took place at 7 a.m. Wednesday at the HDI Memorial Garden at the company off Chapel Road.
