MANCHESTER, CT — Manchester police are looking for a thief who took money from cash registers at two local supermarkets on two consecutive days at about the same time each day.

On Friday at 5:51 p.m., the man stole cash from the local Stop & Shop, police said. At 5:08 p.m. on Saturday, he did the same thing at the local Big Y, police said.

The amounts taken were not disclosed.

Police said they have a "person of interest" in the case based on interviews and surveillance images. Here is the suspect and the getaway car:
