Manchester Cops Making Kia, Hyundai Locks Available
A recent trend of thefts has targeted Hyundai and Kia vehicles.

MANCHESTER, CT — The Manchester Police Department received a shipment of steering wheel locks from Hyundai to assist residents with protecting themselves from the recent trend of thefts related to Hyundai and Kia vehicles.
Manchester residents who own a 2015 to 2021 Hyundai or a 2011 to 2021 Kia can stop by the department to get one.
Due to a limited supply, vehicle owners should bring a CT Driver’s License and affected vehicle registration so officers can ensure they are providing them to Manchester residents.
